$16,500 in grants was re-granted

This program is partially supported by a $15,000 grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Cash match contributors included: Adams Consulting, Blaine Adams, C.P.A., Katherine and Jim Weber. Therefore, a total of $16,500 in grants were awarded to the following 15 recipients in rural Bureau, Marshall, Stark, and Woodford counties. 

 

Eureka Public Library

$1,000 for grant one, artist fees for the middle school visual and writing arts program $1,000 for grant two, towards artist fees at the Bob Ross painting classes

Future of Henry Events Committee

$1,500 towards musician fees for “Brown Bag-It” summer series

Henry Senachwine Grade School & Junior High

$981.25 for the "Super U! Challenge Assembly" theatrical performance by Midwest School Shows

Lacon Area Community Center

$1,000 for the Marshall County Area Art & Photography Show

LW Achievers 4H Club

$1,000 for Jacob Grant's pottery instruction to LowPoint Washburn 4H students

Malden CCSD #84

$1,168.75 for Mary Jane Peterson-Thornton art teacher fees at k-12 school

Mark Bills Middle School PPSD #150

$850 for the "From J Draper Glass to Chihuly" project
